Snowdonia National Park

Snowdonia National Park covers a vast area of North Wales, so it’s definitely one that you shouldn’t miss – or at least it would be very hard to anyway. Covering everything between Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan all the way to Caernarfon and even across to Bala.

Named not only one of the best places to visit in Wales but also Britain, with plenty of rugged landscape to enjoy – perfect for mountain bikers. Many associate Snowdonia National Park with Snowdon’s summit too, which is absolutely stunning, but there is plenty more to enjoy than mountains. Sandy beaches, Welsh valleys, lakes and even waterfalls are just some. Throughout you will find plenty of Welsh culture and heritage which include Roman ruins and even ancient stone walls.

Caernarfon

Speaking of local heritage, visit Caernarfon and you will find the magnificent fortress which is Caernarfon Castle which dates back to 1283. Even if you are not a historical fan, Caernarfon Castle is sure to take your breath away. If that alone doesn’t inspire you why not head on over to the beach for views over the Menai Strait toward Anglesey.

Llandudno

Llandudno is one of the most popular seaside resorts throughout Wales. Including two beaches and the longest pier in Wales, it’s easy to get lost in the fairytale scenery.

Llandudno is great for everything – including cycling. Close by to our Orme shop you will find The Great Orme – perfect for budding cyclists. Stop off at the cafe halfway round and take in the delightful scenery. See if you can spot one of famous Llandudno Kashmir goats too on the Orme or around town too!

If you prefer, you could take an easy-going family ride along the beautiful promenade and stop off for some classic seaside fun. There is often a Punch and Judy puppet show by the pier and a shop to pick up a bucket and spade!

Conwy

Just a short way away from Llandudno you will find Conwy and its amazing castle. Pop into town and you will find charming cobbled streets and an idyllic marina – a great spot for fish and chips and an ice cream after you’ve been treasure hunting in the small local shops in town.

A popular activity for the family here is crabbing – grab a line and some bait from a local shop and join in the fun. Make sure to safely put them back in the estuary once you are done.
